Role: Sales Executive 1000 , Dental/Vision Assignment: Employer Group Sales Location: Open to Mid-west to Western states. The following locations preferred: Louisville, Chicago, Los Angeles, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Phoenix or Denver

Assignment Capsule: As a Specialty Sales Executive 1000 , you are responsible for identifying and executing on opportunities to acquire new groups, selling Dental and Vision benefit product offerings and services. This role is accountable for ensuring Dental and Vision lines of business are aggressively and competitively positioned through all Humana distribution channels. Responsibilities include:

  • Builds and manages/strategic producer relationships/to ensure prominent placement of Humana’s products and services and to generate quality business opportunities.

  • Qualify, prioritize, and concentrate selling efforts on new business opportunities by focusing on customer needs, values and expectations.

  • Identify and leverage business development opportunities to deliver an enhanced customer experience through innovative sales techniques.

  • Positively represent Humana’s core business values within the community.

    Role Essentials

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Prior sales experience in the health solutions industry

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals and be effective in a highly consultative environment

  • Business and Financial acumen

  • Ability to travel

  • Valid Life & Health license Role Desirables

  • Advanced Degree desired

  • Experience working with large, highly customized accounts
